From lifted trucks and off-road rigs to high-performance builds, we've installed train horns on some of the coolest rides in the Valley.
Yes. Arizona law (ARS § 28-930) allows train horn installations on cars. However, it does prohibit how, where, and when they are used.
IMPORTANT: Misuse on public roads can still result in a citation. Streetfighter Motorsports installs train horns correctly, but how you use them is on you.
From a basic air horn upgrade to a full four-horn system with a high-capacity tank, the right setup depends on your vehicle and how loud you actually want to go. Here's a look at the most common train horn installation setups we build:
Decibel Range: 130–145 dB
The entry point for a horn upgrade. Significantly louder than any stock horn, with a clean, single-trumpet sound. Ideal for trucks and daily drivers.
Decibel Range: 145–155 dB
Two horns, more depth, more volume. A popular choice for trucks and SUVs that want the train horn sound without a full multi-gallon tank system.
Decibel Range: 155–165 dB
Three trumpets outputting 155–165 dB. Loud enough to be heard clearly over highway traffic, engine noise, and distance. The go-to for off-road builds and performance vehicles.
Decibel Range: 165–175 dB
Four trumpets, 165–175 dB, and a 3–5 gallon tank. The loudest setup we install is built for show trucks.
